WHAT IS PHOTOAGING?

Photoaging is a particular state of skin aging caused by chronic damage caused by ultraviolet rays and exposure to the sun. Long-term exposure to the sun causes real damage to the DNA of skin cells which adds to that of biological aging.

All this causes rapid degradation of collagen and manifests itself with:

• Deep and widespread wrinkles
• Loss of elasticity, dry and rough skin
• Presence of dilated capillaries on the cheeks, nose and ears
• Sun spots and damage that could cause skin cancer.
