Is a "natural" product safer?

The term "natural" indicates that some ingredients are extracted directly from plants. In reality, almost all cosmetic ingredients are derived from plants, but they are mostly appropriately purified, as some natural elements are sometimes unnecessary and potentially allergenic. What is more important is that no chemical derivatives of petroleum are used.
